Nowadays there is a huge push in society to opt for organic and natural products, for skin, hair and body care, and especially household cleaners. It’s hard to make that switch when what you’ve been using has worked in the past. What if it doesn’t work? And we all know the minute the old “organic” or “natural” label is slapped on a product the price goes up. So it’s not easy to just throw that money down the drain on a potentially useless product.
I’ve listed my tried and true natural eco-friendly cleaners and where you can find them below. This is all based on my personal experience.
1. Bio Cleaner Multi Purpose Cleaning Clays
**Where to find: QVC
This product boasts being great at cleaning stovetops, stainless steel sinks, appliances, granite, copper and bathroom tiles. I’ve used it to clean and polish our glass stovetop after it’s been subjected to cooked on spills. It’s also great on stainless steel sinks and breaking down soap scum on glass shower doors.
Just recently I decided to test it out on our two-piece serving set from our wedding, and lo and behold! It polished those babies up so they look brand new!
2. Method All Purpose Cleaner
**Where to find: Target
I use this cleaner for everything!! I mean literally any and everything. A quick duster, countertop polisher, car interior cleaner, etc. I even use this to clean my wood kitchen table and chairs as well as the buffet table. My absolute favorite smell is the lime and sea salt but I’m partial to the citrus over floral smells.
3. Method Bathroom Cleaner
**Where to find: Target
Our shower was finished fairly recently before we bought the house and unfortunately the people who lived here thought a cream-colored grout was a good idea. **NOTE: don’t ever use a light-colored grout in an area constantly touched by water unless you want to kill yourself scrubbing it.**
I have literally tried any and every cleaner out there as well as making some of my own to combat those stubborn stains. I spent hours on my hands and knees scrubbing it and only to barely make a dent. One day in Target, I decided to give this stuff a try because I mean for $2.99 what did I have to lose?
This, and their other shower cleaners have become my holy grail of bathroom cleaners. It takes me half the time and elbow strength to clean my shower now. They’ve also come out with a foaming shower cleaner that I will be trying so I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
