Bathroom, Bathroom updates

Boho Chic Bathroom on a Budget

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I won’t lie the summer craziness got to me. A never ending list of to-do items, places to go, people to see, etc. I don’t know why but summer is always super crazy for us. Am I the only one?!  I’m actually writing this as I hectically try to prepare dinner too.

But anyways, let’s get right to it. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work on a bathroom for a client recently, who allowed me to get a little more creative and step out of the box. The best part was she pretty much gave me full reign and allowed me to surprise her with most of the details! I love love love surprises, especially being given the opportunity to surprise others.

Design Plan

Since we were working with a smaller bathroom and keeping the existing layout, I decided to pack a punch and make a bold statement with the color choice of the vanity. We ended up getting it mixed to our own shade so it’s one of a kind. I kept everything else very neutral and simple so that this would be the focal point.

This was pretty much the only thing she knew about, well that and the wall color I chose (Behr Marquee Soft Focus). By adding a fresh coat of paint and a few updates here and there we were able to transform the entire space.

After – Boho Bathroom

My favorite element and the thing I was most excited about was all of the mother of pearl accents I had found. I added some floating shelves, decor and greenery and voila!

You be the judge. What is your favorite part?

  1. This is such a fantastic transformation for a small bathroom! I’m sure this was a challenge, but it all looks amazing. I love the mother of pearl mirror and knobs, but the color of the cabinet gives the space a completely different vibe…love, love, love it!

    1. I agree it’s a challenge but keeping everything else fairly neutral and making the vanity pop is such a transformation. I absolutely love it!
